Dover Heading to Minnesota, Nebraska and Missouri This Weekend

Inside Line Promotions – SPRINGFIELD, Neb. (Aug. 15, 2018) – Jack Dover is scheduled to tackle a trio of sprint car races this weekend.

He will venture to Jackson Motorplex in Jackson, Minn., on Friday for a DeKalb/Asgrow presents the Midwest Power Series by GRP Motorsports event. Dover has a victory, a runner-up result and a sixth-place finish at the 4/10-mile oval this season.

“I really like the new track configuration at Jackson Motorplex,” he said. “I think it is super racy and action packed. We’ve won there and battled for another win so we’ve had a lot of success there this year.”

Dover will then head to Off Road Raceway in Norfolk, Neb., on Saturday. He picked up a second-place finish at the bullring earlier this season and has been victorious at the track in previous years.

“I think we’ve finished on the podium every time we’ve been there so that’s a confidence booster knowing that you’re always in contention,” he said.

If the first two nights of the weekend go well Dover will join the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour presented by SawBlade.com for a show at Missouri State Fair Speedway in Sedalia, Mo., on Sunday. He last competed at the track in August 2009.

“It’s been a while since we’ve raced in Sedalia so it will be good to get back there if everything works out,” he said.
