Jackson Motorplex Wraps Up Sprint Car Season With Open Wheel Nationals on Sept. 21-22

Inside Line Promotions – JACKSON, Minn. (Sept. 10, 2018) – The final sprint car show of the season at Jackson Motorplex is only a week and a half away.

The 4/10-mile oval hosts the Heartland Steel RaceSaver sprint cars presented by Wyffels Hybrids and NSL non-wing sprint cars presented by HitchDoc on Sept. 21-22 during the SeaFoam Motor Treatment presents the Open Wheel Nationals. IMCA vintage cars will also be present.

The Jackson Motorplex championships have already been decided as Shane Fick claimed the RaceSaver sprint cars presented by Wyffels Hybrids title by only one point over defending track champion Kaleb Johnson and Elliot Amdahl. Alex Schriever is the NSL non-wing sprint cars presented by HitchDoc champion this year.

Therefore, money and pride are what the teams are racing for throughout the event. Both nights are complete shows with the finale paying $2,000 to win in the winged class and $1,000 to win in the non-wing division.

Heartland Steel RaceSaver sprint cars presented by Wyffels Hybrids will qualifying both nights with fast time netting $250, second quickest receiving $150 and third quickest $100 courtesy of Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel.

Hot laps will open both nights at approximately 7 p.m.
