Jackson Motorplex Showcasing World of Outlaws Wednesday During FENDT Showdown

Inside Line Promotions – JACKSON, Minn. (June 2, 2025) – Wednesday marks the first of two planned World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series races at Jackson Motorplex this season.

The FENDT Showdown showcases ‘The Greatest Show on Dirt’ along with the Sioux Marble Late Model Street Stocks Touring Series presented by Dakota Custom Builders, LLC. The main gates open at 4 p.m. with hot laps at 6:30 p.m.

The top five drivers in the World of Outlaws championship standings have produced multiple victories this season with Jackson Motorplex sponsored competitor David Gravel leading the way with eight trips to Victory Lane. Michael ‘Buddy’ Kofoid ranks second with four triumphs followed by Carson Macedo with a trio of wins. Logan Schuchart and Sheldon Haudenschild each have a pair of victories.

Gravel leads the current championship standings by 188 points over Kofoid with Schuchart 202 points back. Macedo is 218 points behind Gravel with Haudenschild 246 points out of the top spot.

Donny Schatz, Giovanni Scelzi, Bill Balog, Chris Windom, Garet Williamson, Hunter Schuerenberg, Cole Macedo, Zach Hampton, Skylar Gee and Conner Morrell are also full-time Outlaws this season.

A total of 13 different drivers have earned a World of Outlaws win at Jackson Motorplex since the inaugural visit in 1987. Nine drivers have recorded a triumph during the last decade.

Schatz and Carson Macedo were victorious at Jackson Motorplex last year. Macedo and James McFadden – twice – reached the Winner’s Circle in 2023. Macedo and Schuchart split wins in 2022 with Kerry Madsen winning the first two nights in 2021 before Schuchart captured the finale.

Schuchart was a two-time winner in 2020 with Brad Sweet winning once. Sweet posted two triumphs in 2019 with Macedo scoring a victory. Jason Johnson earned two triumphs and Schatz recorded one in 2018. Ian Madsen, Kerry Madsen and Sweet were triumphant in 2017. Daryn Pittman won the lone race in 2016.

Joey Saldana (2014), Schatz (2006 and 2013), Steve Kinser (1988, 2004 and 2010), Pittman (2005), Sammy Swindell (1988) and Bobby Davis Jr. (1987) won the World of Outlaws races at the track prior to the most recent 10 years.

Cory Yeigh has led the way with three Sioux Marble Late Model Street Stocks Touring Series presented by Dakota Custom Builders, LLC victories this season. Matt Steuerwald, Ryan DeBoer, Mike Chaney and Garet DeBoer have also recorded a win.
